Pamela Carpenter is a dedicated mother and successful small business owner from Regina’s North Central neighborhood. Becoming a single mother at 17, and living in Regina housing, Pamela has firsthand experience with the challenges faced by many in her community. Her journey from these beginnings to becoming a prominent figure in Regina’s business landscape showcases her resilience and determination.
As the owner and operator of The Bannock House, Pamela manages two thriving locations, earning recognition as one of Regina's top food trucks from 2020 through 2024. Her business has garnered numerous accolades, including awards in the Regina Community Votes, highlighting her exceptional business acumen and dedication to customer service.
Pamela's extensive experience includes significant union involvement, serving as both a union representative and an employer representative in collective bargaining agreements. Her advocacy for fair working conditions and employee rights underscores her commitment to the workforce.
In her role as a Food & Beverage Shift Manager at Casino Regina, Pamela managed a large team, ensured workplace safety, and facilitated employee development. She holds a Professional Leadership and Development Certification from the University of Regina, enhancing her skills in leadership, coaching, mentoring, and conflict resolution.
With daughters aged 31, 21, and 12, Pamela has navigated the changing education system over three decades. Her strong foundation in business operations, government policy, and workforce development positions her to effectively advocate for small businesses and community welfare.
